About Us
UniWardrobe started with a simple observation. Student merchandise often feels rushed, uncomfortable, and forgettable.
We believed merch could be better. Better made, better designed, and created with intention for people who actually wear it.
Mission
To make merch that outlives trends and doesn’t outlive our planet.
Vision
To set a new global standard for student merchandise and to inspire a generation of students to buy better, wear longer, and leave less behind.
Our Story Timeline
UniWardrobe was officially registered with a clear intent to build a student first merchandise brand focused on quality and long term value.
This phase was about learning, testing, and understanding what students truly needed from their merch.
UniWardrobe went live with its first collections and first D2C custom orders.
Early feedback shaped our direction by pushing us toward simpler designs, better fabrics, and clearer processes.
We completed our first 100 orders.
This milestone confirmed that there was genuine demand for thoughtfully made and reliable merchandise.
We crossed 500 completed orders.
By this point, we had refined our systems, improved turnaround times, and built stronger supplier relationships.
Of this 500, we had a 37.8% of total orders from referrals.
(thanks to our lovely students)
What Changed Everything?
After completing 500 orders, we took a short pause to celebrate. During a trip to Goa, we came across massive dumps of discarded clothing. That moment raised uncomfortable questions.
Where does all this go after use?
How long does it take to break down?
How many resources are consumed for something worn only a few times?
One t shirt alone can use up to 2700 litres of water.
A Shift in Perspective
That experience changed how we looked at our work.
We realized the planet is more valuable than margins, and progress cannot come at the cost of long term damage.
We knew we could no longer continue with materials and processes that harm the environment, even if the industry considers them standard.
We finally Shut all our Operations in Sept 2025.
And Now, We're Back.
Sustainability cannot be achieved in a day or a week. It is a continuous process that evolves with better choices and long term thinking. We do not claim perfection. We focus on making progress.
How We Are Trying to Be More Responsible?
Our approach to sustainability goes beyond labels.
We focus on long lasting materials so products stay in use longer.
We avoid plastic based and blended fabrics to reduce recycling challenges.
We follow plastic free production processes wherever possible.
We prioritise durability over disposability.
Because the most responsible product is one that does not need frequent replacement.
Why Sustainability and Why Students and Custom Organizations?
Students and organizations often order merchandise in large quantities.
This means the impact of every decision scales quickly.
By improving quality, reducing waste, and choosing better materials at this level, the positive impact becomes meaningful.
That is why UniWardrobe focuses on students, colleges, and custom organizations where thoughtful merchandise can create real and lasting change.
UniWardrobe is built for communities. For people who care about what they wear and what it represents.
We are here to create merchandise that feels right, lasts longer, and truly belongs.
